RISK ASSESSING L2 :
FOR THE PRIVATE SECURITY INDUSTRY
Course Outline
OVERVIEW
The General Risk Assessing Course L2, provided by ProTrainings, was re-engineered to focus specifically on the private security industry.
Our instructor, Gary Munday, a 25-year veteran as the owner and manager of a leading Surrey-based security patrol company, personalised the standard course to benefit both security companies and individuals currently undertaking this task, as well as those aspiring to present a formal training background to current or potential employers.
Fundamentally First Aid has the sole right to deliver this course.
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR
This course is designed for responsible and proactive security companies that want to meet and exceed legal, regulatory, and relevant standard codes of conduct. This course provides individuals within the organisation with the understanding, theory, skills, and hands-on training, along with the confidence to competently undertake a recorded risk assessment within the private security industry.
LOCATION OF THE COURSE
The course should be held at the private security companies premises. Where this is not possible the security company can arrange a local venue conducive to learning which may also be at a customers location. Fundamentally First Aid can provide a training room within our offices at Hersham in Surrey.
COURSE LENGTH
The course has a 6 hour contact time with one hour for breaks during the day. The course length including breaks would be 7 hours. Dates and times to be mutually agreed.
At this time the course is not a shared open course. This course would be booked by a company at their chosen venue or at our offices and for their invited students which would not exceed 12 learners.

TYPE OF COURSE
This a an assessed course. 100% of practicals would need to be successfully completed and you must achieve at least a 75% score on the end of day assessment to successfully pass this course.
The end of day assessment will be undertaken on the learners internet enabled phone or device and will consist of multiple choice questions.
The learner will sign into a a virtual classroom for the assessment. Results of the end of day assesment will be provided after submission of your answers.
CERTIFICATE
On successfully completing the course the learner will receive a digital VTQ certificate from ProTrainings which will last for 3 years.

The full day course including certification for no more than 12 students costs
£599.00
Additional costs may occur for varying factors such as travelling, accomadation etc
