Above, Fun First Aid student being taught the back slap on our anti choking vest. Training should be more than theory on the 'how' to undertake the activity. Students should be able to practice the action and experience how to carry out the technique .
One of our first aid trainers demonstrating the abdominal thrust. When the correct technique and force is applied a foam projectile will exit from the front lung of the anti choking device.

One of our first aid instructors demonstrating chest compressions. The manikin used is from Prestan and provides feedback via smart phone app on a mobile device along with audio and visual feedback from the manikin. Chest compression depth is confirmed by a clicker noise and compression rate and depth is confirmed by lights on the shoulder.
The right shoulder of the Prestan manikin displays a series of lights to indicate an error in technique or if the compression is being administered correctly.
